X1/9 Suspension Strut - Rear 1500 (USA)

Original style oil filled shock absorber strut for the rear of 1500 models typically sold in the USA, but applicable to other markets, e.g. when fitted to standard UK spec 1500 cars, the rear ride height will be lowered by approx. 3cm to be the same as original 1300 models.

Note: The dimension between the strut lower spring mount and the upper hub carrier bolt hole is 18cm. Check this is the same as your existing struts to ensure the same ride height.

This strut has no shoulder on the rod top, so is only suitable for the 1500 model bump-stop/perch assembly. Complete with nyloc nut for rod top mount.

It is recommended that struts on the same axle are replaced as a pair. Priced individually, but can only be purchased in units of two.
