Oil pressure sender unit rated 0-8 bar. Standard M14 x 1.5mm thread. Spade connector sensor output, but also supplied with bullet adapter lead. Suitable as a replacement unit as follows:
FIAT X1/9 European models -
- These have an oil pressure gauge as standard and the bullet adapter can be used to suit the existing wiring.
Note: This sender unit is a substitute for the factory item which is no longer available. While the overall body size is the same, the hex nut size is smaller (19mm versus 22mm) and the shank length is correspondingly shorter: This makes spanner access only possible from above, as the sump pan flange limits fitment from below. Consequently it's best to schedule replacement when next changing the oil filter to gain clearance and extra leverage room.
FIAT X1/9 USA & Canadian models -
- These were not supplied with an oil pressure gauge and typically do not have the factory sender take-off adjacent to the oil filter.
However, if you're retro-fitting an oil pressure gauge, then Tee adapter
EE051
can be used to branch off the oil pressure warning light switch port on the engine block to provide a suitable take-off for this sender unit.
Lancia Beta Scorpion and Montecarlo S1 models -
- This sender can be used as a direct replacement for the original unit.
Lancia Montecarlo S2 models -
- The factory S2 oil pressure sender units are no longer available; These originally featured a banjo style fitting and required the longer oil pressure switch to secure the unit in a single port.
However, this sender unit can be retro-fitted to S2 cars using Tee adapter
EE051
to convert the existing port and allow the standard oil pressure switch
EE004
to be used instead.
