X1/9 Track Control Arm Boot - Early

Suspension track control arm (front lower arm) dust boot with integral metal collar which is a push-on fit to the ball-joint body and a direct replacement for your tired or split original rubber boot. This boot type was factory fitted to all 1300 models and earlier 1500 cars. Sold individually.

See SS084 for boots using two spring clips which secure into a groove on the ball-joint body and are typically found on aftermarket track control arms or later 1500 cars. Always confirm your boot type before ordering as the original factory parts may have been replaced.

When replacing dust boots, the ball-joints should be cleaned and packed with molybdenum grease (MoS2), such as our CV joint grease TR017. You may also require nyloc nuts FS051 for each track control arm ball-joint as they should not be reused.

Also applicable to Lancia Scorpion and Montecarlo S1 & S2 models as original fitment.
