X1/9 Track Control Arm Boot - Late

Suspension track control arm (front lower arm) dust boot which uses two spring clips and secures into the groove on the ball-joint body. This boot type is typically found on aftermarket track control arms and later model 1500 cars. Made from modern polyurethane for improved durability and a perfect fit when upgrading your tired or split original rubber boot. Sold individually. Note: The two spring clips must be re-used from the existing boot.

See SS082 for boots with integral metal collar which are a push-on fit for earlier track control arms with no groove in the ball-joint body. Always confirm your boot type before ordering as the original factory parts may have been replaced.

When replacing dust boots, the ball-joints should be cleaned and packed with molybdenum grease (MoS2), such as our CV joint grease TR017. You may also require nyloc nuts FS051 for each track control arm ball-joint as they should not be reused.

Also applicable to Lancia Scorpion and Montecarlo S1 & S2 models where aftermarket track control arms have been fitted.
