X1/9 Swing Arm Ball-Joint Boot - Late

Suspension swing arm (rear lower wishbone) dust boot which uses two spring clips and secures into the groove on the ball-joint body. This boot type is typically found on later model 1500 cars and replacement ball-joints. Made from modern polyurethane for improved durability and a perfect fit when upgrading your tired or split original rubber boot. Sold individually. Note: The two spring clips must be re-used from the existing boot.

See SS089 for boots with integral metal collar which are a push-on fit for earlier swing arms with no groove in the ball-joint body. Always confirm your boot type before ordering as the original factory parts may have been replaced.

When replacing dust boots, the ball-joints should be cleaned and packed with molybdenum grease (MoS2), such as our CV joint grease TR017. You may also require nyloc nuts FS024 for each swing arm ball-joint as they should not be reused.

Also applicable to Lancia Scorpion and Montecarlo S1 & S2 models where later style ball-joints have been fitted.
